ASYV Students Attend International Health Conference
On March 3 - 4, four ASYV students had the exciting opportunity to attend the Africa Health Agenda International Conference Youth Pre-Conference in Kigali. The two-day conference taught young leaders in Africa about the continent’s health systems and how Universal Health Coverage can become a reality. It was also an opportunity for the students to network and meet other young, ambitious, smart leaders from accorss the continent. The day was full of skill building sessions, presentations by leading health professionals and advocacy workshops.
To finish off the Youth Pre-Conference, our students were able to participate in the main conference’s opening ceremony — carrying flags of countries from across Africa as a welcome to international delegates.
