Building positive changemakers

The impact of ASYV does not just change the lives of our students. It goes beyond the Village’s gates as we help shape young people to have the resources to change the world, in ways big and small.

I grew up in Kigali with 4 siblings. We lived with my aunt because both my parents died. Before ASYV, I had to study very hard because I could not attend school unless I got a scholarship. At ASYV, I have the confidence that I can achieve anything. When I graduate, I want to be a professional Sign Language translator.
