Fundraising on TikTok

Starting a TikTok fundraiser is an easy and meaningful way to support the Village. You can start a fundraiser at any time or to mark a special occasion like your birthday, or to support ASYV at year-end. Follow the steps below to start your fundraiser.

There are a few ways to use the platform to fundraise:

  1. Add a donation link to your TikTok profile

    Open the TikTok app on your smartphone.

    Select the Profile button at the bottom right-hand corner of the app.

    Choose Edit profile.

    Select Add nonprofit to your profile.

    Search for the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village.

    Once selected, the donation link will appear within your profile bio. 

  2. Create a fundraising video and use donation stickers

    Within your profile on the TikTok app, select the Add post (+) button at the bottom center of your screen.

    Create your video. Use this as an opportunity to share more about your personal connection to ASYV and why you’re raising funds.

    Once you’ve created your video, you can select the Stickers button (shown on the right-hand side) and then select the Support Nonprofits button (usually shown in the second row).

    Search for the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village and choose a location on the video for your sticker to be displayed.

    Select the Next button at the bottom right of your screen. This will take you to a page where you can add a description of the video and adjust additional video settings.

  3. Fundraise on LIVE

    Select the Settings button at the bottom of your LIVE screen.

    Tap on Support nonprofit.

    Search for the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village.

    Select a location on the video for your sticker to be displayed by tapping the screen.

    Go LIVE and connect with your followers in real time.
